As the Lewis & Clark Expedition neared Hungery Creek along Idaho's Lolo Trail June 27th, 1806, they gathered this plant at the "Head waters of Kooskoosky." Although similiar, it is considered a distinct species from the common Eurasian Jacob's Ladder, with bell-shaped, light to purple blue flowers. Grows 12" by 12". Prefers gritty, well-drained, but moist soil and full sun to light shade. zone4,zone5,zone6,zone7,zone8
