Sieva is a variety of Lima, growing ten to twelve feet tall. The three-inch-long pods are smaller than the common Lima, however, and remarkably uniform. Jefferson's
Garden Book listed the "White Carolina" bean in 1794. Sieva beans, like Limas, require the whole season to mature. This highly productive variety is classified as one of the best. Plant seed two inches deep after last spring frost in full sun.
Approximately 15 seeds per pack.
