Horminum Sage is a hardy annual native to the Mediterranean region. It was grown in Britian as an ornamental in the sixteenth century and illustrated by John Gerard in 1633.
Horminum Sage grows one to two feet with a neat, tuft-like crown of sage-like leaves and a striking top-knot of colorful bracts in delicate hues of pink, blue, and purple. Sow seed in a sunny site in early spring for flowers in summer. It is useful in the flower border or as an edging plant.
Approximately 50 seeds per pack.
