Bee Larkspur, a native of Russia and one of the chief parents of our modern Delphinium cultivars, it has been cultivated in English gardens since 1578. Bernard McMahon of Philadelphia sold seeds of this perennial in 1804.
Bee Larkspur is an upright plant to five feet. The rigid flower stalks are densely covered with richly-colored, bluish-purple flowers in mid-summer. Spring-sown plants will usually flower the first summer in a sunny or partially-shaded site. USDA Zones 3-8.
Approximately 20 seeds per pack.
